Danger: Hatherton bends

A local resident writes: "This morning, conditions at Hatherton bends degraded even further, with frozen water / slush and even black ice on the bends, where workmen had traffic lights yesterday.

"People should approach with extra caution.

"Cheshire East are being called to ask how this has been left in this crazy and unsafe condition."

Regular readers will recall that there was an accident there this week with a sheet of ice across the road causing a car to tip over.

There were several teams of workmen there yesterday but this does not seem to have improved matters.
