Daisy Jaks are a four piece band, based in North Shropshire and Staffordshire, who describe their music as "acoustic folk pop", a mixture of styles with influences taken from artists such as the Indigo Girls, While and Matthews and any good storytellers.
A talented band of musicians, who between them play Guitar, Ukelele, Cello, Violin, Clarinet, Flute, Keyboards, Bass Guitar and occasionally the lead vocalist is allowed near the percussion! To top all that, everyone sings so the harmonies help bring the songs to life even more.
The band is currently recording their first album at Artisan Studios in Newcastle, and the name I hear you cry, well the Jaks bit comes from the first letters of their first names (Joan, Anji, Kathy and Sarah) and the Daisy bit '. well '.. they just liked it!
