Daisy, the VIP cow at Mr & Mrs Tim Rees's farm near Hunterston, is undergoing strict training as well as a diet designed to drop a precise and concentrated cowpat shortly after 2pm on Saturday, 5th October.
She is reported to be standing up to the pressure and expectation quite well, according to the expert cow psychologist, Dr Pat Moodrop, who is in charge of her regime.
When interviewed by our agricultural correspondent, Daisy was quietly confident that she would last the tough programme of preparation, ready for the grand event on October 5th.
The point of all this preparation is, of course, the ADCA Spot the Cowpat competition.
To enter the competition, predicting the exact spot where Daisy will deliver her first cowpat, entry forms can be obtained at most businesses in Audlem.
