Tim Ball writes to say that the newly formed Audlem Cycling Club's inaugural ride went off very well today (Sunday 3rd February)

Tim says: "Two groups set off from The Priest House just after 10.30am with a group of six going off through Shavington Park, round the back of Market Drayton and returning to the cafe via Norton -in Hales – 25 miles in quite windy but dry conditions – the leg in from the Mucklestone area was made easier thanks to a good tail wind – route planning pays!

"The other group of four riders completed around 16 miles with a loop taking in Cox Bank and Wilkesley.

All in all a very enjoyable session.

More next week departing 9.30am from the Butter Market."

Tim would love to hear from anyone who might be interested in joining or helping with the club. All ages, abilities and preferences (eg road, mountain bike, serious, pleasure etc etc) are welcome. Please contact Tim or Nikki Ball (01270 811803) if you are interested.
