Cub balloons raising funds

Catherine Colgan writes: "Audlem Cub Scouts held their fund raising balloon launch on Saturday 23rd February. 230 balloons were launched by the cubs and the first two balloons have already found their way back to us – one sent from Stoke-on-Trent and the second from Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

"A group of cubs toured the village wearing sandwich boards and handing out invites to join in the fun. A good time was had by all and the event was well supported. Watch this space to find out who has won first prize – a Tom Tom Sat Nav. Special thanks to our sponsors Holdcroft Renault."
