Audlem History Society has arranged a Coach Trip from the village on Tuesday, July 9th, to see the Staffordshire Hoard on display at Hanley Museum. The exhibition sets out very attractively the remarkable story of the Hoard and includes an interesting film about it.

Non-members are very welcome to join us. The coach leaves the Main Car Park at 10am and is expected to return at 5pm.

The visit will also include a guided tour of Rode Hall near Alsager, which dates from the 17th Century and includes an internationally famous collection of porcelain ware. There is also much to see in the attractive gardens.

The visit concludes with a home produced Cream Tea in the adjoining barn.

The full cost for the day, including coach, entry fees, guided tour and cream tea is £20.00 (lunch not included).
