Cinema sell-out

The Public Hall's cinema programme saw its most successful show to date yesterday with two packed performances of Mamma Mia!, the fun-packed ABBA based musical set on the Greek island of Skopelos.

Sing-along lyrics projected on the screen added to the fun and the smiles on every face at the finale showed why Mamma Mia! has been such a sensational hit. The public suggestion list for future films at the exit summed up the evening. Pretty well top of the list was: "Mamma Mia! – again and again!"
