Audlem Scout & Guide Hall Committee would like to thank very much the local community for their tremendous support in putting out their Christmas trees for recycling last Saturday.

We managed to raise the amazing sum of £684 with the help of Barclays Bank 'pound for pound' matching.

Our sincere thanks go out to all the helpers which are too numerous to mention individually – those who helped on the day, gave leaftets out, the loan of tractor + trailor and the villagers who saw what we were doing and came to help.

It was overwhelming the support we had. Thank you once again and we would like to wish everyone a happy New Year. We will be recycling trees again in January 2011.
