Celia Bloor continues her quest to travel by bus from Audlem: "I have just found that Traveline have a website where you can choose 'bus' and put in your journey details. It works quite well but you have to work in one region at a time and as we are in the North West but Staffordshire and Shropshire are in the West Midlands, you may have to break your enquiry up. It is explained on www.traveline.org.uk/longbus.htm

"Our main problem, if you want free journeys starting in Audlem, is that there is no bus soon after 9.30 a.m. going to Nantwich. You can get the 9.31 to Whitchurch and leave there at 9.55 to go to Nantwich via Wrenbury arriving at Nantwich at 10.43. I expect most would rather pay half fare on one of the earlier buses which gets you there in one fifth the time!

"There is no suitable bus from Whitchurch to Chester to link with the 9.31 unfortunately – all the services are designed for travel within a county, not across the borders. Now I have found the website though I can check out numerous journeys!
