This morning, Christmas Eve, our little group of Brass players will once again be playing in Audlem village centre.

Some people may have heard some of us at the big switch on a few weeks ago – see photo.

We have done this for the past 4 years and are basically a group of old friends who always get together to play Carols on Christmas Eve.

When we first started we didn't collect but folk just insisted on giving us money which we promptly gave to St Luke's.

It's never been about money for us, that's not why we do it but we will gratefully receive any donations and this year anything we do collect will be given to 'Mend Our Mum'.

We will be there come rain or shine from 10.00am – 12noon.

Please come and say hello if in the village Christmas Eve morning and may well be able to play your favourite Carol for you!
