Damage to local car

Between 3.30am and 9.00am on Saturday 20th June approximately £2000 worth of damage has was done to a car parked on the drive of a house on Tollgate Drive.

The damage consists of a number of deep scratches along the side of the car, a swirl of deep scratches and also scratches on the bonnet.

The matter was reported to the police who have said that they cannot do anything unless there any other incidents in the village.

A local resident says: "If anybody else has been the victim of such a mindless, vindictive criminal, please report it to the police as soon as possible.

"Also if anybody saw any suspicious behaviour on Tollgate Drive between these hours again contact the police, please."
