Recently, as I looked out if the kitchen window, I spied two new birds eating the seeds I put out for the birds. Normally I get wood pigeons, ring necked doves, pheasants -- male and female plus the small birds. But this time two new ones.

Looked them up and they were a pair of partridges !!Never ever seen them before . Quite magical . And so pleased to see them which must mean they are getting more numerous .

I hope that they will live without fear of any guns.
