Audlem Online has received some wonderful photos emailed in by readers who were at The Big Switch On on Thursday.

Today's Homepage photograph is by Gary Suggate – and don't forget you can also enjoy the pleasure of re-assembling the Homepage photograph by clicking on the Puzzles link below the photo – but, be warned, the daily Slide Picture Puzzle can become seriously addictive!

David Wanamaker has sent in some high quality shots showing the size of the crowds. He and his wife Helen are new to the village and have moored their Cheese Boat for the winter at Overwater Marina where, incidentally there is an Open Day today where you can buy their Welsh cheeses and many chutneys and pickles.

Finally, and it's a repeat from our story of The Big Switch On's success, published on Friday, we have a shot of the star of the show, Santa, seen here with the Bonnell family who sponsored the Big Tree now lighting up the Square.

All the photos can be enlarged by clicking on them.

You can find a wide range of photos, by season and event, in the Galleries section of Audlem Online. It's well worth exploring.

Also, if you have some great photographs of the Audlem area, preferably landscape format rather than portrait, do send them in to editor@audlem.org">editor@audlem.org
Many of the photos we have received are now featured in Audlem Christmas cards – there's local cards at Williams' newsagents, the Post Office and the Mill Shop – and the 2010 Audlem calendar now on sale at the Post Office and selling very fast.
