Two big films are coming to Audlem on Saturday 7th February at the Public Hall. The 5.00pm film is Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (PG) followed at 7.30pm by Australia (PG).

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is a sequel to the 2005 film, 'Madagascar' about the continuing adventures of Alex the Lion, Gloria the Hippo, Marty the Zebra and Melman the Giraffe. Produced by DreamWorks Animation, it was released on November 7, 2008. The film shows a small part of Alex's early life, including his capture by hunters. It soon moves to shortly after the point where the original left off, with the animals deciding to return to New York. They board an airplane on Madagascar, crash-land in Africa.....but you'll have to come to see it to learn more!

Australia is the recently released Australian epic romance with stunning scenery. It stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. Set between 1939 and 1942 against a dramatised backdrop of events across Northern Australia at the time, it includes events such as the bombing of Darwin in Australia during World War II.

Tickets will be available at Williams' newsagents and the Post Office at £2.50 for children and £5.00 for adults for the 5.00pm performance and £5 for the evening show.
