Beware A50 closure

Cheshire East have sent details of the temporary closure of the A50.

The A50 at Liverpool Road West in Church Lawton has been closed by United Utilities due to a sewer collapse between the junctions of Congleton Rd North and Knutsford Rd. A signed diversion is in place via the A50, A534, A34 and A50.

United Utilities envisage that the works could take up to five days (from last Friday), but at this point until further assessment is undertaken an end date is not known.
