'Best of the Best' plans being put in place

The team from the Parish Council, ADAS, ASET, the Public Hall, the Youth Club, the Parish Plan and others have met to pull together their plans for the presentation to the Calor 'Best of the Best' judges followed by the exhibition by village organisations in the Public Hall. Confirmation of the date the judges will be visiting Audlem is still awaited as the judges are having to schedule their early May visits to the six Northern villages competing to try and avoid Local Election day on Thursday 4th May. The Public Hall will be used for voting that day.

Forty one villages across England, Scotland and Wales, all past winners of regional or national awards in the Calor Village of the Year competition, are competing for the title which has a first prize of £20,000. Audlem's 13 page written entry, plus supporting material, has already been sent to Calor.
