One Day All This Will Be Yours

Launch event on Wednesday 8th July 7-9pm, Baptist Chapel Meeting Room, Woore Road, Audlem.

At long last we have a poster to show you that will be appearing all over the village in the next few days as well as in some form rooms at Brine Leas.

'One Day All This Will Be Yours' is the first session of the newly reformed Audlem Youth Club and so we are pushing the boat out and having a bit of a party to welcome everyone.

Free BBQ and soft drinks

There is going to be a free barbecue and soft drinks available as well as some pretty wicked tunes courtesy of two bonkersly different Spotify playlists that might annoy the neighbours just a little teeny bit (apologies in advance – just this once and only until 9.00pm) because we've got re-e-e-a-a-ally good speakers on the camper van and we're going to be outside, come rain or shine!

Why 'One Day All This Will Be Yours'? It sounds proper epic but all it is really meant to mean is that the new youth club won't have a real name, identity or shape until you, the new members, give it one. So, in the first few weeks, amongst other things, you'll be choosing the name that you want the club to be known by (I'm ahead of you there...that means no words you wouldn't say to your granny) and designing a logo. You'll also be thinking about the sort of activities you want to do on the Wednesday evening sessions, as well as the monthly Friday evening sessions.

Anyway, before we get to all that other stuff we'd really like you to come along on the 8th July and help us to create a graffiti wall or make a festival headdress AND eat at least a beefburger or a hotdog (note to self: remember to get a veggie alternative as well) AND get a goody bag if you are one of the first 30 to arrive.

Fees

For the first week it's all free, you won't need any money at all and then if you would like to come along again it will be £1 subs each week. That's just so we can pay for boring things like insurance and we'd also like to be able to give something to the Baptist Chapel every so often because they have been absolutely brilliant in inviting us to start up there rent free. So, if you're 11 and older, or 18 and younger, we'd love to see you there.
