Audlem tops another poll?

Good news this week about the economy with the manufacturing sector recording it's seventh month of growth in a row.Not so good though for the construction sector which is still in the doldrums.

Many of us may find this odd when so many local villages boast new housing developments and of course we in Audlem are no exception.

At a rough count, there are around 150 properties either under construction or consideration in our village which works out at about 90 new properties per 1000 residents, a very high proportion which may well put Audlem near the top of the list.

Think of it as a "saturation coefficient".
