Both the Chronicle and Nantwich Guardian have featured Audlem St James' school and pupils in the past week after Muller's, the property developers responsible for Moseley's Yard in the centre of the village, sponsored a pond colouring competition as the first step to creating a new school pond.

It won't be long before the pupils are learning about natural habitats as Muller are donating a range of fish and plantlife to help pupils begin to get their new pond habitat established. Headteacher Catherine Nolan-Burnitt said: "The school pond is an exciting project and the children as well as the staff are looking forward to it. We are grateful to Muller in helping to fund the pond and believe it will become an excellent hands-on project for the children."

Muller's Paul Sweetman awarded the best pond designers in each of the three age categories. The winners will have their winning entries framed and displayed within the sales office at Moseley's Yard.
