Audlem Ramblers Saturday 30th Dec Walk
Our last walk of 2023 will be led by Christine Johnson on Saturday 30th December. 5.75 miles, mainly flat walk from Hassall Green along the old Salt Line and back along the Trent and Mersey Canal. No stiles. As a relief from walking in muddy conditions most of the walk is on good paths on the Salt Line, canal towpath and some road.
Meet Audlem Car Park for departure at 8.30 am to drive to the Salt Line Car Park at Hassall Green. Post code CW11 4XT . About half an hour drive.
We'll have a coffee break on the walk and should be back in time for lunch.
NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.
Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.
Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two
