Audlem Postie's special delivery

Audlem Online has just received the following news from Lynne and Andrew Smith at the Post Office: "We are happy to announce that on Thursday evening popular Audlem postie, Sam Buckley (nee Walley) made an early delivery of a baby girl weighing in at 7lb 6oz (according to Andrew's post office scales). The normal Royal Mail Special Delivery charge of £19.45 has been waived on this occasion.

"We are arranging an early years training programme for Baby Buckley so that she can uphold the Walley family tradition of working at Audlem delivery office following on from her mother, grandmother and great aunt.

"Congratulations to Sam and Dave."
