Audlem resident Philippa Butler, lead physiotherapist of Audlem Physiotherapy Clinic established 8 years ago, has over 30 years experience as a chartered physiotherapist.

Philippa treats a range of musculoskeletal conditions including those of the back and neck along with peripheral joints and can release sore and tight muscles and manipulate joints if required. Physiotherapy focuses holistically & physiotherapists are trained to recognise a range of injuries and conditions and their underlying causes.

Part of a holistic approach to assessment and treatment includes understanding the context in which and how the person functions. Physiotherapy aims to identify problem/s, reduce pain through targeted intervention, educate and advise, restore movement and improve function with an overall goal of a stronger, healthier functioning body. Philippa's assessments include a strong awareness of biomechanics (I.e how the joints of the body work in relation to each other and understanding ab/normal movement).

Philippa works with GP's, consultants and other health professionals to ensure the very best care for her patients.
