Audlem at night

Monday – and I am pleased to be part of the ADAS (Audlem District Amenities Society) executive committee at their annual Christmas Dinner last night.

It is always our policy to enjoy the meal in one or other of the village pubs, thereby giving support to the community in which we live and are happy to work in to make it a great place.

This year we were at the Bridge Inn under the service of Gary & Vikki and their team. The pub was heaving. In the bar area was a needle darts match in the Whitchurch Darts League. In the front lounge area was a calm dominoes game in full swing. In the conservatory area the regular band of folk musicians were playing.

We were in the centre of all this truly fantastic example of real pure village life. What a great example of the way this place – this Audlem – is such a jewel with all these facets coming together for good clean pastimes and enjoyment.

We are truly very lucky.
