Andy Davidson says: "Next Saturday's ARS (Audlem Ramblers Society) walk is organised by Tony Crowther who offers us either a 6 mile or an 11 walk before many of us sit down to the ARS Xmas dinner in the evening.

Following my recce yesterday with dodgy Dave please find the following details for this Saturday's walk:
Starting from the quarry car park at the foot of the Wrekin (free) we will walk over the Wrekin (407m) to Little Wenlock and on to Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge. Mainly taking part on good forest tracks field footpaths and approximately a 2 mile stretch of country lane.
Good countryside walking with excellent views and amazing angles overlooking the power station at Coalbrookdale.
Xmas shops/cafes /pubs in Ironbridge for those that just want a short walk.
Car park at Dale End Car Park In Coalbrookdale costs £2.90 daily with Public Conveniences nearby
Long ARS Veterans will want to do a return which is easy!
