Another 'Oscar' with Audlem links

On Saturday morning we reported the amazing success of Audlem at the Mayor's 'Oscars' event the night before (See 'Oscars success last night for Bill Consterdine and Audlem' by clicking 'More News' beneath the Latest Audlem News headlines to the right of the Homepage). We have now been told that Audlem resident Bidi Jones was also present at the Mayor's Oscars as part of the the South Cheshire Friends of the Earth group, who won the Environmental Initiative Oscar. This group has close links with Audlem as it was started by local residents and there are still many local members. Indeed the "creative" team who are responsible for the newsletters and posters, all live in Audlem. To all the local members, Bidi says thank you for the support you have given over the years. The group were over the moon at the win.
