Last month's 'fireworks' Vote Poll on Audlem Online was running neck and neck throughout February. Half way through March this month's poll is just as close. Do you want a brown wheelie bin for material that can be composted? These bins are normally used in urban areas but, before spending money on a proposed central composting site in Longhill Lane, the Parish Council would like to know your views on having compostable material collected from your home. You will have to pay £20 a year, we are told, but it seems half of those voting so far like this option.
Some on the Forum on this subject argue it isn't a case of a brown wheelie bin or a central composting site. Both are needed as a wheelie bin won't be big enough for many gardens. You can express your view by clicking on 'Forum' or by voting and then clicking on to 'Discuss this topic in greater detail'. You can always check how voting is going via 'View results' beneath the 'Vote Now' box. The results of all previous Audlem Online Vote Polls can be checked using the dropdown menu via 'View Results'.
