AFC v Sydney Arms FC

I write this from afar as we , as a squad , drive off to meet our next opponents in Crewe – playing the game on Bentleys legend pitch in Pims Lane.

We play Sydney Arms FC . Team we do not know their strengths or weaknesses . So a bit of a lottery for us. Changing rooms etc very basic and not a patch on our own at Audlem.

Kev Rodgers reports a good strong squad and hopefully all will turn up and be sober . Scorer of two goals last week is on the bench as we keep his prowess in reserve.

We play in our new strip and they play in yellow . Hopefully that will be the only yellow on the field of play !! No cards.
