AFC face the Leopards

A brief report this week (perhaps mercifully so in view of the scoreline!), with Ralph away

In my absence abroad, the team faced Leopard F C , of the premier division in a cup tie. More or less like David versus Goliath.

At home , but once more struggling to get a team together, with many absentees.
In the first 20 seconds, we conceded a penalty. What a start.

Suffice to say , we were thrashed – especially after our goalkeeper, jimmy Murphy was red carded.

Score at the final whistle was 9-2 in their favour. Pete Jones scored both for AFC , repeating his result of last week. Our top scorer.

Now next Sunday we face Sandbach Town away – in yet another up tie. This time away.

One Can but hope.
