ADAS is to provide a further six stone planting troughs, three in the Square and three in Buerton. They will be in place for the planting of next spring's bulbs.

Planning for the Christmas displays in the village is well under way. New brackets for the 50 small trees that will light up the streets will be fitted over the next 4 weeks by Mike Haines, Bill Consterdine and Ralph Warburton. These have been made for ADAS locally and have cost £650. They will be firmly fixed with safety in mind and present the best display in South Cheshire when lit up on 4th December. ADAS has also organised over the summer a gourd growing scheme for St James' and Buerton Schools. Today Ralph Warburton will judge the best results and the prizes will be awarded to pupils at School Assembly tomorrow.
