On the Seventh Day of Christmas my true love said to me "Cheese Straws"

Ingredients
125g Self-raising Flour
½ tsp dry mustard powder
50g butter
75g strong cheddar cheese finely grated
1 egg ,beaten
Pinch of salt
Black pepper to taste
Method
Preheat oven to 190c.
Sift together flour, mustard powder, and salt
Add cheese, pepper and egg and form into a dough
Roll out to a rectangle to1/4 in thick, cut into strips ½ in wide and 6ins long
Place on greased baking tray and twist each straw to make a barley twist
Bake for 15-20mins
Cool on rack and store in airtight container
