ADAPT's programme of short winter cycle rides continues this Sunday, 11th February. This month's ride follows route L17 from the Audlem cycle map and demonstrates an easy and pleasant way to Bridgemere Garden Centre avoiding most of the main roads normally associated with making the trip. We will travel by Hankelow, Hunsterson, and Bridgemere village, arriving at the complex by a pretty back lane.
You can look at the route map for L17 on the ADAPT website by clicking here.
There are good opportunities for refreshment at our destination and will make sure there is time for a look around as well before returning by the same route.
We will be going at our usual modest pace, so the ride is suitable for beginners, families, those returning to cycling or other cyclists just looking for a short trip. The ride is all 'on-road', and the return journey covers 13.5 miles.
We plan to leave from outside The Bridge Inn, Audlem at 10.30am. All ages are welcome, but children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
If the weather is seriously inclement at the start time, then a decision will be made to postpone or go ahead with the ride.
