£27,500 donated by Charity Shop

At the recent Audlem Charity Shop's AGM it was reported that last year set a new record for fund-raising.

The following donations were made: £13,500 to St.Luke's Hospice and £3,500 each to The Donna Louise Children's Hospice, The Wingate Centre, Audlem First Responders and Midlands Air Ambulance.

A grand total of £27,500, thanks to the generosity of the donors of goods for sale and the hard work of Volunteers and other helpers.

Our two main events this year will be the Summer Fair on Saturday, 14th June and the Autumn Fair on Saturday,18th October, both at the Methodist Hall.

The shop will be open on Saturday afternoons from Easter until the Autumn, and will be open all day for village events. Gazebos in front of the shop will make their first appearance on Easter Monday, 21st April for the sale of jewellery and toys at bargain prices.
