Audlem or Audley

An AudelOnline reader has written in to suggest that the dog-napping attempt reported on AoL yesterday (see here) might have been referring to Audley, not Audlem.

She writes

Re Dognap Attempt Are we sure this happened around Audlem?

Could it be that it's a typo and it should have read "near Audley" which better fits the description of a more " rural area of Stoke"?

Of course we still all need to be vigilant to prevent this type of crime.
