As yet, there is no hotel accommodation in Audlem. There are b&b facilities and self-catering accommodation plus a caravan site at the Overwater Marina to the north. The nearest hotels are in Nantwich, seven miles north of Audlem.
There are no permanent camping facilities. Occasionally, camping facilities are available at the top of Green Lane, the Market Drayton road, near to the village centre for events such as the Music and Beer Festivals.

Badgers is a recently completed renovation of the shire horse stables which served our farm, where we run a smallholding. The delightful conversion offers traditional, homely accommodation to an excellent standard throughout. Much original character is retained, with stable doors, exposed beams and round barn windows with shutters, along with a cosy sitting room, a well equipped fitted kitchen with dining area, two bedrooms (sleeps 4) and two bathrooms.
Outside there is a sunny, secluded decking area with a fantastic hot tub in which to relax whilst enjoying the open views towards an old windmill. A gate leads off the decking directly onto the fields where horses and sheep graze. There are numerous footpaths to explore. Horses are welcome here too, ideal for enjoying the countryside from the saddle. An excellent holiday home which provides a peaceful getaway, whatever the time of year.
Well-behaved dogs and children welcome. Smokers very unwelcome!

Self-catering cottages
There are 10 award-winning self-catering cottages on the Combermere Estate, all graded 5 star and sleeping between 4 and 6 persons. Six of the cottages, have been skillfully integrated into a Grade 2* stable block originally built in 1837.
Three new cottages were added in 2011 and each sleeps between 4 and 10 guests, bringing the total capacity at Combermere Abbey cottages up from 27 to 49 guests.
Each of the new cottages' interior has a classic-contemporary style with antiques seamlessly blended with modern pieces and high quality bathrooms and kitchens. The larger cottages are perfectly suited to groups of friends and extended families taking a holiday together, and complement the weddings and events side of the estate's business.
There is also the romantic hideaway Stone Lodge, a charming Gothic lodge which sits at the perimeter of the estate and has its own private car parking, terrace and damson orchard!

Characterful features have been retained such as beamed ceilings on the lower level, and in the living room you'll find a wood burner, perfect for cosy winter evenings. To the rear of the property is a private garden where you can enjoy a morning coffee and evening glass of wine, and then the surrounding grounds, which you're free to explore, are simply spectacular. A sunken floodlit tennis court is available for use by prior arrangement, and the landscaped grounds extend into parkland which borders the Shropshire Union Canal.
