Last week an assortment of bats and racquets mostly supplied by our brilliant local charity shop were pressed into service for a mass game of balloon tennis. An entirely new sport involving not allowing the many balloons released onto the court to touch the floor. Bonus 5 points if a balloon bursts on the opponents' side.

We are just waiting to hear whether it has been accepted as an Olympic sport.

This week sees the return of the runaround quiz. Last time we had a tie-break question in Comber quiz tradition "How many descendants in total can a male and female rat produce in 18 months?" You don't want to know the answer...

Youth club runs during term time on Wednesdays, 7.15-9.00 pm at the Public Hall.

For year 7's and upwards.
