As many people probably know by now, there is a project under way called APHEx, Audlem Public Hall Extension.
The object of this project is to extend the existing Public Hall to provide better and more flexible facilities for the many activities that go on in and around Audlem.
One of the possible uses of a room in the Extension might be to set up a small gym so that the many people who travel to Crewe, Nantwich etc can have a facility locally, and, perhaps more importantly, those who do not currently do this kind of exercise at all might be encouraged to do so.
So the APHEx committee is anxious to find out how much use there would be of such a facility if it were provided.
It would be necessary to have it run either by an existing commercial company, or perhaps by a local group who would be prepared to organise the operation.
So please let us know if you would be a potential user of a small gym in the Public Hall, and, better still, if you would be prepared to play some part in its creation and organisation.
