Cllr Rachel Bailey has forwarded notification of road works to be carried out in Woore Road over the next couple of months
I have been notified of CE Highway Repairs which are due to take place on the Woore Road, Buerton, resulting in further closures:
- Line Removal: Monday 18th May 2026 to Tuesday 19th May 2026.
- Surface Dressing: Friday 29th May 2026
- Sweeping Saturday 30th May to Monday 1st June 2026 (night works )
- Lock Chip: Monday 1st June 2026 to Tuesday 2nd June 2026
- Lining: Wednesday 10th June 2026 to Friday 12th June 2026

Works are also scheduled for London Road, Peter De Stapleigh Way and Elwood Way @ Stapeley from 19/5 to 23/5/26, which will inevitably result in additional traffic on local roads.
