Welsh Row to be closed

A reminder that if you are driving through Nantwich from tomorrow, please note the following major road closure as it is anticipated that the works will be carried out on Monday 3rd until Monday 17th March 2014.

Cheshire East Borough Council has issued a road traffic notice to prohibit traffic in Welsh Row, Nantwich from its junction with Waterlode to its junction with Taylor Drive, the actual location of works is between 27 – 29, near to the Black Lion Public House.

The temporary road closure is necessary to avoid danger to highway users whilst United Utilities carries out essential repairs to a collapsed sewer.

The alternative route during the closure will be via; A534 Waterlode and vice versa. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
