As charity lead for the area at Boots it is my job to organise events to raise money for our partner charities Macmillan Cancer Care and Children In Need.
Our latest charity event is called the Walk Of Care.
It consists of transporting our charity mascot, The Cheshire Cat, to all the stores in the area, however he is not allowed to travel by car!
The Cheshire Cat will be starting his travels by leaving Audlem with myself and Annette on Monday 23rd May and being walked down the canal to his next store at Nantwich. He will reach his final store, Chester Foregate Street, on Friday 27th May!
To wish the Cheshire Cat well on his travels and help raise money and awarness for our charities we will be having a Mad Hatters style tea party on Monday the 23rd May!
We will have cakes and treats for sale and other fund raising activities throughout the day!
So please feel free to come down and see what we have that you could treat yourself to whilst raising money for 2 excellent charities!
Thank you in advance for your support.
Jess and all the team at Boots Audlem
