Walk-in COVID vaccination clinic in Crewe

January 18th to 22nd in Crewe Town Hall

Anyone who is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination will be able to simply walk into a new pop-up clinic at Crewe Town Hall from January 18th-22nd.

Military personnel will be supporting NHS staff at the clinic – operated by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust – with residents eligible for a first, second or booster dose encouraged to simply walk into the Municipal Building, on Earle Street, for a Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccination at the following times:

• Tuesday, January 18th (11am-4:30pm)
• Wednesday, January 19th (11am-4:30pm)
• Thursday, January 20th (1pm-6:30pm)
• Friday, January 21st (1pm-6:30pm)
• Saturday, January 22nd (10am-3:30pm)

Clare Watson, Accountable Officer of NHS Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group, said:
"We are absolutely delighted to have secured the support of military personnel for a five-day pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Crewe Town Hall. The team are able to deliver hundreds of vaccinations every day so please pop in if you're eligible for a first, second or booster dose.
"In addition to the booster programme, we continue to see lots of people coming forward for first and second doses, which is really encouraging. It is never too late to come forward for your vaccination – whichever dose that may be.
"If you are unable to attend a walk-in clinic, you can also arrange your vaccination appointments via the National Booking Service, by calling 119 or by responding to an invitation from your local NHS service."


Councillor Arthur Moran, vice-chair of Cheshire East Council's adults and health committee, said: "The council actively supports these clinics as all the evidence shows getting vaccinated along with your booster is safe and the most effective way to protect yourself and others.
"Vaccination rates in Crewe are some of the lowest in Cheshire East, and these clinics are an opportunity to do the right thing to help prevent the spread of the virus.
"It's never too late to take up the offer of getting vaccinated, so please make every effort to attend on one of the days if you can."
