W. I. annual garden party

On Thursday 7th August, Audlem W. I. held their annual garden party at a garden in Hatherton.

A beautiful sunny afternoon and good company made the afternoon very enjoyable. The garden was decorated with green and white bunting and looked very festive.

Delicious sandwiches, cakes and scones made by the ladies of the committee were appreciated by everyone.

The competition to identify pictures of British T.V. sitcoms had the ladies reminiscing about the programmes they knew.

At the end of the afternoon there was a raffle and the Chairman Lin Nicholas thanked everyone for coming to a most enjoyable afternoon.
