The question 'Are there too many fireworks displays in Audlem?' has produced a closely contested Vote Poll throughout February. It looks as if the fireworks fans will just edge it unless there's a late surge of votes that changes the verdict this evening. Tomorrow, we start a new Vote Poll. 'Do you want a brown wheeley bin for material that can be composted?' The bins will cost £20 a year, we are told, but a central composting site will also cost money to set up at a proposed site in Longhill Lane on the Common Land there. The Parish Council is interested in your view and has asked for this Poll to be run. As well as voting, there will be a Forum where you express your views in more detail than the simple Yes/No/Unsure choice in the Vote Poll.
