I am a British Waterways volunteer, whose role is to develop a rounded view of the impact of BW volunteers on their local waterways and communities nationally.

I have selected the Volunteer Lock Rangers at Audlem for my first case study and am very keen to talk to any residents or visitors who feel that the volunteers have helped (or hindered!) them in any way. Or just like having them around!

Can I use your website to try and contact anyone who would be prepared to spend 5 minutes talking to me?

If you are happy to help in this study, please contact me at JSearles@britishwaterways.co.uk" target="_blank">JSearles@britishwaterways.co.uk with a contact telephone number. Thank you in anticipation of your help.

Audlem Online adds: Our thanks to Steve Hyder for the photograph taken last summer – and a reminder of the warmer weather ahead this year.
