Village Seasons

As we get ever closer to the Big Music and Arts Festival, the Village was dressed up last Saturday with our now traditional display of flags which we started in the year 2000

And they will grace the village right through out the season of the summer events.e.g. Hankelow Summer Fete, ADAS open gardens weekend , then
the next big event will be the ASET spectacular of the Party on The Park with a splendid Michael Jackson tribute band ,then to the very extra special Festival Of Transport with classic vehicles from far and wide .

ADAS have spent the weekend planting up all the tubs and hanging baskets with an army of volunteers -- commanded in full detail by Neil Goodyear.

The flags , funded again with our thanks by the Parish Council, will now be in place until Armistice day .

No doubt there may be some gainsayers with their negative comments, but the vast majority of residents -- see it all as a great statement of the fine spirit we enjoy, and of equal importance to the local businesses, the many tourists that we attract here do enjoy all we have to offer them in such a vibrant and caring community .
