Union Flags in the Village

This year, we have decided to put up the union flags in the village earlier than normal so that they are in place for the 80th VE day celebrations on the 8th May.

In recent years ADAS and ASET have funded the purchase of flags and replacement poles, but this year the Parish Council have kindly provided them.

If you can help, please meet at 15 Cheshire Street (access via side gate) on Tuesday 29th April as follows:

• Starting at 10.00 we will be putting flags onto the poles so snips for cutting cable ties will be required.
• Starting at 14.00 we will put the flags up around the village, so ladder teams are required.

Subject to numbers of people turning up we may be able to get some flags up in the morning.
