Ukraine Fish Supper Quiz Night

Saturday 17th at 7pm

A note to all who have bought tickets on this very important night -- a total sell out , by the way -- I want to let you know of a point we will be making at the start of the quiz at about 7.30 .

Christopher Lee and Anna Barker ,who now live here in the village, have just returned from voluntary duty at the front of battle in the Ukraine. They have gone though some horrors with their local comrades and witnessed some awful atrocities by the Russian forces. I feel sure you will find their words very meaningfull and it will bring home to us just what life there is like right now .

We will of course have a moment on the night to jointly remember our wonderful Queen . So so sad to have lost such a marvellous lady .

Thank you and we will welcome you all at 7 pm on Saturday .
