Turnpike Volunteers have only gone and nailed it!
The new walk way to Green Lane is complete.
- The photo montage tells the story of Friday, Saturday and Sunday when:-the walkways were lifted from the workshop (courtesy of Yvonne Parker) onto site, with Richard Furber + tractor and trailer, and Steve Elliott, Peter Morgan and Tim Ball assisting
- positioned on Saturday – utilising Dylan Jones' expertise and equipment, with Nigel Mottershead, Steve Elliott Simon Platt and Peter Morgan getting dirty playing in the mud
- steps nailed on to the platforms on Sunday by Steve, Nigel, Tim and Simon
Mention should also be made of Norman Huntbach who received and stored material required on his site.
Apologies to anyone whose name has been missed!
I am sure that Audlem will agree this has been a superb example of what volunteers can achieve for this village!
