Try Curling!

Have you been enjoying cheering on Britain's curlers? Why not have a go yourself? Did you know there's a curling rink less than an hour's drive from Audlem?

Audlem curlers Andy and Di Hannah are keen to encourage new curlers, and want to make Audlem aware that there are beginners' sessions in both the afternoons and evenings of the first four Mondays in March.

The Welsh Curling Association has curling ice at Queensferry, near Chester most Mondays during the winter months, and is holding 'come and try' sessions run by qualified coaches to give anyone who has enjoyed the Olympic curling a chance to experience the game first hand.

One chap who came along at the beginners' sessions after the last Winter Olympics went on to represent Wales in last year's European Championships, so you never know...

All ages are welcome. You don't need to be as young as the ones you see on the telly!
