Transport Festival next Sunday

Next Sunday sees one of the big events of the Audlem calendar – the Audlem Transport Festival organised by ASET, the Audlem Special Events Team.

Some 350 vehicles and boats are booked in for what should be a great day. The cars, commercial vehicles, tractors and motor cycles will parade through the village and will then assemble on the playing field for the afternoon.

Nearby, at Audlem Wharf, twenty one historic boats will be moored outside the Mill Shop and the Shroppie Fly and in the pound below the Shroppie.
