Town Hall Redecoration

Following the success of the new Annexe, plans to upgrade the Town Hall to the same standard of modern accommodation have been approved by the Public Hall Trustees.

The work will involve various trades in installing a fire alarm, upgrading of some electrics, insulating the Hall and Snooker Room, repairing spoiled plaster on the stairs, building storage cupboards to the stage ante-rooms and decorating throughout. Ball park costings have been established and the Trustees would now like to consider quotes from local multi-disciplined contractors able to carry out the work during August.
